Despicable Me 3 (2017) Storyline :
After Gru is fired by the new Anti-Villain League boss, the cunning Minions expect that he will go back to a life of crime. Rather, Gru chooses to stay retired and make his first trip to Freedonia to see his long-lost twin brother. In order to defeat the elusive Balthazar Bratt, a former child star from the 1980s who is seeking retribution against the world, the reunited brothers quickly forge an uncomfortable alliance.
Review of Despicable Me 3 (2017):
Another great film in the franchise. Plenty of laugh-out-loud moments and Steve Carrell voicing Gru’s bro Dru makes such a good job of it that I thought it was a different voice actor. The scene where Gru and Dru impersonate each other is so cute as they act out their missing childhood games and spot on with real-life sibling behaviours. Kirsten Wiig’s Lucy is a masterclass in voice acting once again. ALL of the characters have great characters and lines, including the girls and, in particular, Agnes’ unicorn obsession! The humour is very Benny Hill in its slapstick delivery and throw in the sheer determination of Agnes that the existence of unicorns is true, you have quite an endearing film to keep you entertained for a while. I can’t remember the child actress’s name (many apologies young lady!) but she is SO cute and SO on it for such a young lady. If you love animation and this franchise you won’t be disappointed!
