What began as a debauched yearly slumber party for a tight-knit group of gal pals quickly turns into a struggle for their lives as otherworldly evil threatens to destroy the world–and, worse, disrupt the one night of the year when the ladies may have a naked pillow fight. Will they make it through the night, trapped by magic, surrounded by evil, and clad in rags? Will this slumber party turn a slaughterhouse? SLAUGHTERHOUSE SLUMBER PARTY is the diabolical mix of HARD TO DIE, EVIL DEAD II, and PARKS and REC the world did not know it needed.
Review of Slaughterhouse Slumber Party (2019):
Described as a horror picture, the horror part truly comes into play approximately halfway through the film, with special effects depicting green ghosts and a strange demon-like creature rising from the dead.
The plot is clear. Featuring an all-female ensemble that gather for a slumber party before one character becomes spiritually and demonically possessed and becomes the villain (we detect this from the start).
Featuring a lot of flesh, almost all of the women undress (this is intended to distract the viewer and persuade them into appreciating the picture more, given that it isn’t really excellent).
Overall, the picture is not intended to be serious, and the characters are aware of the genre.
